Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 12th, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aloome plugin or extension (“Plugin”). By installing or using the Plugin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Plugin.

1. Introduction: The Aloome Plugin enables a connection between your e-commerce store and the Aloome SaaS platform for autonomous SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).

Please note: Installing this Plugin does not activate the Aloome service. To use the Aloome platform, you must register for an account and sign a separate agreement via our SaaS portal at https://app.aloome.com/register.

2. Use of the Plugin:

The Plugin allows your store to: Connect to Aloome’s SaaS platform. Share catalog data (e.g., product and category information) and transaction data (e.g., purchase price and purchased items). Enable dynamic landing page creation and performance tracking.

You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, or misuse the Plugin.

You are solely responsible for ensuring compatibility with your e-commerce environment.

3. Registration and SaaS Agreement:

Aloome’s full feature set is available only after you:

Register via https://app.aloome.com/register

Complete onboarding steps including contract signature within the SaaS portal.

This agreement covers:

  • Pricing and billing terms
  • Service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Data processing arrangements
Without completing registration and contract signature, the Plugin will not be functional.

4. Data Handling and Privacy:

The Plugin does not transmit personally identifiable information (PII) of your customers such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or addresses.

The Plugin will send the following types of data to the Aloome platform via the Plugin:

  • Catalog metadata: Product and category information needed for search optimization
  • Transactional data: Data related to e-commerce activity such as referral sources, purchased products, and order values
  • Organization data: Information entered during registration, including company name, billing email address, and phone number
  • Personal data of the registering user: Such as first name, last name, email address, and phone number, as provided during account setup on the SaaS platform

This data is used for the sole purpose of:

  • Enabling and improving the platform’s features
  • Generating analytics and billing reports
  • Communicating with you via invoices and operational updates

For more information, please see our Privacy Policy (https://aloome.com/privacy) and, for customers within the EU, our Data Processing Agreement (available via the SaaS portal during onboarding).

5. Liability and Disclaimer:

The Plugin is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Aloome is not liable for any damages arising from installation, use, or inability to use the Plugin. You are responsible for maintaining your e-commerce webshop environment and data backups.

6. Termination:

You may uninstall the Plugin at any time. Uninstalling the Plugin will disconnect your e-commerce store from Aloome.

Please note: Uninstalling the Plugin does not terminate your SaaS agreement. To cancel your subscription, you must:

  • Use the termination option within the Aloome SaaS portal, or
  • Send a termination request to: support@aloome.com
